MISSION STATEMENT - FROM 2023

The Weymouth One World Group is an organisation, whose sole existence is to raise money for people in need.

The group members work to raise awareness locally of the opportunities to help others and work for a more just and equal world.

The group aims to meet monthly and all committee members are expected to attend. There will be an Annual General Meeting when nominations are invited for the positions of Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

The groups accounts are audited annually as soon as possible following the A G M. These accounts are open to the public on request.

All applications for the allocation of monies raised by the group can be put to the Committee at any time. The group will only consider applications from those who do not have major overheads.

The Committees decision on such matters is final.
